Dave Brigham:
Dave had this to say about himself....
"I became at peace several years ago with the fact that some day I would be 65 and still playing air guitar to Black Flag. I discovered punk rock via college radio when I was 17. Overnight I went from listening to Foghat, Skynyrd and Charlie Daniels to thrashing around my bedroom to the Dead Kennedys, Minor Threat and the Circle Jerks. Nearly 30 years later, I don't listen to punk as much as I used to, but my ears still favor indie rock. After turning my back on bands like The Doors, Zeppelin and The Who during college and for a few years after, I realized I was a fool, so I now have plenty of classic rock on my iPod, alongside my all-time favorite band, the Flaming Lips, as well as well-seasoned bands ranging from the Butthole Surfers, Fugazi, Sonic Youth, and Giant Sand, to younger acts such as Frightened Rabbit, Deer Tick and Johnny Foreigner. I also get my kicks from classic country such as Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Hank Thompson and Wanda Jackson, as well as newer alt acts such as Those Darlins and Lydia Loveless. In 2010, I published my first book, a collection of short stories centered on music. It's called "(C)rock Stories: Million-Dollar Tales of Music, Mayhem and Immaturity" and you can buy it here (http://booklocker.com/books/5152.html).
